That is good to hear. The Compact, ignore my earlier email, should not
remove any information. All that it does is to compress the various tables
to recover space that had been used by deleted entries.

Basically, Access never overwrites space that had been used by deleted
records. It always just adds new data at the end.

I would not normally expect to use Compress unless I had been deleting a
lot of records.
