In that case there is a subtle difference in the citations so they are not recognized as duplicate and you will have to manually remove the excesses. There is a source Citations report you can print to help you find the duplicates.

Go to View > Master Lists > Source
Options > Print
Include Tab
What to print Select all sources or only tagged or untagged sources (for this you will have to review the list and tag all the ones you want beforehand)
What to print
Master sources and all citations
Make sure include events and whichever sub options you want are selected.
Options tab gives you some options for the layout and options for text and comments to be included.

If duplicate citations are found the duplicates will be removed. I have
a version 7.5 file that I maintain and it had duplicate sources that
    the
    version 9.0 check repair found.

I recently discovered that merging two individuals may cause duplicate
sources also. I did a manual merge of a duplicate and found that the
resulting person had multiple copies of the same source for some of his
    events.
