It's also a VERY capable program for bulk file renaming, including the ability to incorporate EXIF or IPTC data into the filename.

One of the best can't-do-without free programs is IrfanView.  It's a
graphic editor and opens all graphic files including PDFs.  Download it
along with its add-ons, then use it to open your PDFs and save them as
JPG or whatever.  It will also handle multiple page PDFs. It's also
great to join files together, such as back and front scans of photos or
multiple pages of documents.  They can be joined horizontally or
vertically using "panorama image".
