Patti and Alan,
This is a known bug. It was reported to Support by many people after the release of build 393. It also affects some other reports.

It may disappear with particular setting choices but I don't think so.

I suspect Henry is using the beta as he's a beta tester like I am.

It appears to be fixed in the current beta version though I haven't thoroughly checked with a range of different settings.

You can't fix it. You'll need to wait for the next build.

My reports are also not showing parents. I need instructions on how to fix this and the instructions need to be simple.

Alan

I know that Cathy has replied already… Check your settings… I do NOT have this problem with build .393…

Everything appears as it should when I print preview.

Kind Regards

Henry

*Subject:* [LegacyUG] Change to Ancestor Book Report

Am I missing something or has there been a design change to the format/layout of the Ancestor Book Report with the latest update (12 July 2021 - Version 9.0.0.393) of Legacy Family Tree?

Prior to the update, when I ran the report, by default, it would identify the parents of each individual in the report as per the following example

 1. Doris Isabel Scrambler, *daughter of Robert James Scrambler and
Isabella Jane Burton*, was born in 1901 in Nine Mile Creek,
Victoria, Australia and died on 28 May 1975.

After the update, the report no longer includes the parents as follows:

 1. Doris Isabel Scrambler was born in 1901 in Nine Mile Creek,
Victoria, Australia and died on 28 May 1975.

I can find no check box option to switch between these two formats so it seems to me this change has been hard-coded into the report design. However, I can find nothing in the Revision History to indicate such a change as part of the latest build.

My preference  would be to switch it back to the way it was, or at least provide the user with option of which format they wish to use.
