Terry,
You can see the modified date on Family View if you hover near the
extreme bottom right corner - you should see a small box pop up like the
boxes that show when you hover between the main couple etc. Each of
these hidden areas has a different function. Click the box and you get
more detail. To see more on how to see this go to Help > Help Index and
in the right pane choose Tips and Tricks and then General.

I made a real bonehead move when I did a search and replace. I meant
to have only one word replaced and instead I replaced the whole
whatever (picture caption, given name, general notes) in my
entire file. Unfortunately, I did not catch on until I made at least
216 more entries. I hate to lose 4 days of work. Is there a way to
blend all the new work I did in the 4 days after my mistake with
before making the mistake?
