To control the Chronology Report, on Chronology View, click the Options button then the Display options and see the various tabs including the Report Options tab. When you preview the Report you can save as PDF. The Report option directly under the Options button uses the options already chosen. Valerie is this doing the type of thing you mean by Timeline? Note that there is Timeline Chart Report under Reports > Other Charts that shows you who is alive at the same time. It has two options - Ancestors or Descendants.
