I've run into a new problem that I've not had before. Don't know whether
it is something I am doing wrong or if there is a feature I can turn off?

I've imported a large GEDCOM file and didn't realize data is in wrong
fields (I didn't import directly, started with a "dummy" file, but missed
this error before importing it into my main file).

Given Name: Ann Queen of
Last Name: England
Or
Given: Ann De
Last: Anjou

I want to put the "titles" in the prefix-suffix location and add the "De"
to the last name.

In most cases it works fine with a cut and paste, but I have run into
several where I'm allowed to cut and paste, but the original text will not
delete, no matter what I try. Also, the Auto fill feature fills in and
won't delete.

Another problem, where the data is entered in the Last Name field, I have
the Surname Caps option chosen. When I transfer the data to another field,
I end up with all caps. Is there a way to change the new data without
having to completely retype it? I have many changes to make and it is very
time consuming, and subject to error if I re-type.

Any suggestions???

Thanks!
