Another problem with locations in the US is change of county boundaries, state 
boundaries (in the early formation of our country), territories that came and went.... 
 I have an ancestor buried in a cemetery that "moved" from one county to another after 
the burial.  Fortuantely, *both* counties had the cemetery indexed!!
