Once more into the breach, I'm afraid. I have just attempted to do a simple
location clean-up using search and replace on a small gedcom for the third
time. Each time it has initially produced a '3021: No current record' error.
If I do not choose to quit, but attempt to return to the program, all but
one or two of the locations are deleted. On the second attempt, I also got a
'Jetx" error, whatever that may be. On the last attempt, choosing to quit
produced a 'Fatal Exception Error in Kern32" forcing a cold re-boot. I have
since checked the gedcom with another program and have found nothing at all
to indicate bad data or some similar problem. Quite frankly, I am very
hesitant to re-open my main data files now. I have done all the usual
checks, re-installs, etc, but is this enough? Why am I having to either
re-install the program or re-import files several times a week? I am a firm
and staunch supporter of Legacy, but holy cow! Only one other program I run
has require reinstallation and that only once in two years.
