Make sure the "Legacy files you restored were not changed to
read-only. (should be archive)

Can't Restore Back up
I had to restore my hard drive due to a virus. I had
backed up my
databases as well as copied the Legacy Family Tree Files
to CD prior to
restoring & now it's time to reload everything. I'm
getting errors when

Import Legacy
File:
Error Opening Database
GedCom is successful from the same
CD I backed up to. Unfortunately,
gedcom is much older than my legacy
file back up and I'll have to
re-enter alot of source info if I can't
restore.
Is this a common problem or did the virus get to these
files?
