Just a couple of thoughts/ideas for your consideration... You could print two reports -- one with dates listed for those who are deceased and one without dates for those who are living. (I realize that may not be much of an option, but thought I would "throw" it out there anyway.) Create a focus group of those you want on the list. Export that list (or the whole file if that's what you want) into a new Legacy family file and delete all dates for all living people. Then, print your report. By exporting into a separate file, you don't have to worry about losing important information. Hope this helps. Deb --Original Message-- I would like to make a name list report that lists name, birthdate, deathdate, father's name and mother's name AND somehow blank out or mark "private" the dates for the living relatives.

Just want to make sure there is no way to do this
except for manually...I didn't receive any responses the first time
around.
I would like to make a name list report that lists
name, birthdate, deathdate, father's name and mother's name AND somehow blank
out or mark "private" the dates for the living relatives. I have become
acquainted with some of the other reports and I see where you can put a
checkmark for the private features..but for the life of me, I can't find this
option under the Name List Report. I know I can import this report
to a word processing program and then manually remove the dates..but
that's a lot of work!
Thanks in advance,
