Hello,
I am French but I am now using Legacy 3 Deluxe Edition for three weeks
and I like very much this program.
Just a problem : at least four times, I got the error message :

*****
Runtime Error 380 - Invalid Property Value.
*****

On Legacy site, I found the usefull troubleshooting page.

Here is what we can read about the 380 error :

*********
Please delete from the Legacy folder on your hard drive all the files
the end with the .USR extension. Next uninstall Legacy and re-install
it. You can uninstall using your system's Control Panel / Add-Remove
Programs utility or by running the program setup again (either from the
CD or the downloaded Legacy30.exe file) and elect the Remove option from
the InstallShield options screen.

You should also make sure that you have Maintenance Pack 2 downloaded
and installed to your computer. You can get the Maintenance Pack at
http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Download.asp.

Next make sure that Legacy 3.0 has the latest update installed (Help,
General Information, Build date line).
(...)
********
Well, each time I uninstall, then wipe all and reinstall, it works
well... but the operation is a bit tiring, no ?

And as I am French, I customize several boxes, for example in the main
screen : "n" instead of "born", "dcd" instead of died... and so on.
After each reinstallation, all is lost.
So, perhaps somebody could tell me what may cause the error 380 : as it
deals with the .USR files, is there something one must not do while
customizing the program ? Using accents or something else ?

The error occurred mainly while trying to compare two files for
duplicates. One evening, I got the error although in the morning I had
made a comparison whithout any trouble. And I could nearly swear that I
had not modified anything between the two comparisons.
Thanks for any help !
