Hi, I believe that others have had this problem in the past and to date I have not seen any "fix" for it. I need help to get rid of Error 3021 which appears when I try to add a new person to my file. The box which appears states <Error getting next deleted RIN 3021: No current record would you like to try again?> If I reply "yes" I get the same message again...and again.. and again... If I reply "no" I am allowed to go ahead and put in a new person but if I click on "quit" Legacy closes down instantly. The error started after I asked Legacy to start using unused RIN numbers. To date I have 1) run "Repair" and then installed the latest update 2) run Scan Disc neither of which has changed things. 3) exported the file to a new file but my address formatting was changed throughout Legacy in the new file [i.e. I have all the counties and Countries in Chapman code Capitals and in the new file they all appeared in lower case after the initial caps - I don't want to have to go all through the program reformatting!] Any suggestions please? Should I uninstall and reinstall as a last resort or is there something simpler that I can do? Thanks for any advice anyone can pass along.
