Others have suggested entering them in a separate database, then merging
when you have found the link. That works fine, but if you're using a lot of
the same locations and/or sources as your main database, you may want to
enter the individuals as an unlinked tree in your main file. The advantage
is that you can make use of your existing master lists. "Show list" on a
location, for example, would give you everyone in all trees for that
location.
You can use View/Tree Finder/Refresh to see how many unlinked trees are in
your file.
