Another one that gets rid of banners etc. is at: http://www.adsubtract.com AdSubtract Standard Edition is free; you pay for AdSubtract Pro. AdSubtract is put out by the same people as the firewall ZoneAlarm. The pay versions of both AdSubtract & ZoneAlarm are offered together as a package. I use both the free versions. ZD-Net gives AdSubtract five stars and says: "This free utility effectively prevents advertisements from loading in your web browser, speeding things up considerably." One has to go in every now and then to see if updates are available. Otherwise there is no bother. I've only recently heard of POW.
