Repository is a good place to put this information. Or you can put it in the
title area - such as:
Bible - Ellis (in possession of.... )

If you have the information in Source Notes... Anything you have in the
Source Notes will not print until you check the little boxes "Include on
Reports" and "First Time" on the bottom of that screen. You have to do it
for each source you want to have printed in your reports. Kathi

Subject: [LegacyUG] where to put holder, in source citation.

I always have trouble knowing/deciding where to put the information
regarding things that are held by people. For instance, I am in possession
of various original documents. I understand that the repository is where
anyone else can go to find that information so that would be entered as such
even though I hold proof etc.

My query is where to put the words "In June's possession" (or whoever) in
the source record. I have put it in the comments but then it comes on a
separate line, taking up unnecessary space. I did put it in the notes, I
think and then it didn't print in the citations. I really never know where
is the best place. I put it in the Published line, which looks OK but isn't
really correct. Where do other people put the info of who is holding the
document apart from the official repository?

Many tks,

June, Canberra
