Well, since I know a bit about how they operate, I can say with fair
certainty that it's just a marketing ploy.  Offer as many products as
possible and let the public choose which to get, as long as they get it from
their company, and always do it in a manner in which you can sell as many
other things to them as possible afterwards. But I suppose that's how most
companies operate, isn't it? Kathi

At the risk of being a skeptic, wonder why Ancestry.com is offering
free software.

I have had a subscription for a while now and not really sure the
value is worth the price.

Now they are offering Family Tree Software, I'm not sure what this it
all about. I'd ask them but have not been able to get a straight
answer to previous questions. Thought if any group would give a
balanced opinion, Legacy would.

Any thoughts or comments?
