I have both FTW and Legacy and in the past have had trouble using gedcoms
between the two.  What I did is install PAF, import the gedcom there, then
make a new one in PAFand import that one into Legacy and/or FTW.  Works for
me, but I didn't fine tune all the commas etc.   Worth a try?
