Judy,

I'm interested in your last sentence that you "can't scan your hard drive
because it is too big".  No hard drive is too big to be scanned.  I suspect
you may have a disk error.  Try going to Start, Accessories, Command Prompt.
This opens up a little window with a blinking cursor.  Type in     chkdsk c:
/f

If you have any errors on the hard drive, this will either repair them or
report to you if they cannot be repaired.  After you do this, run Legacy
again and let us know if the problem is still there.
