In tests Legacy 3.0 was close up to the neck of TMG, 99$ with a lot of CD's, to no use
for foreigners. Legacy giving all features as TMG,
except addiing witnesses to events.(Workaround in Legacy: Independent persons linked
by source and location)
Legacy 4.0 is free (standard version) Legacy 2.0 had a free download Demo version
limited to 50 persons (Workaround: Small bases under 50
persons linked in a greater base, not editable, but it worked) Even today TMG has not
a working download demo.
The major improvement of the 2.0 version was the WEB creation option, that was free!
For charts, the weak point in Legacy there are Add ons, go to Millennia Web-page.

I believe one of the unique Legacy features is the "Make list" button in Master Lists
- haven't seen it in TMG and other programs.

It is a very good tool, still developing, for both familiy registration and serious
research, but you have to learn the features. (see hidden features
topic)
