I am in my first day of Legacy 4.0 Upgrade and already love it. However I am presnted with many new challenges, one with the Event Sentence Definition. I tend to get very detailed with data. I record all variations on names and Event locations and other findings. I record other spellings of names as AKA's.For locations, I put the wrong spelling of those in event notes. Also some locations for dates may be less detailed and I record those as alternate Events, ie, one source may only have a county and state while another lists city, county and state.
So now all of these alternate events list in the Event Sentence Definition that "He or She has conflicting [event] information of ......." I see that I am able to override it. For one I put "[HeShe] has less detailed birth information of [Date] [inPlace].[Sources] [Notes]." My question is this: Is there a way to globally change the Event Sentence Definition? Not all of my alternate events conflict, the majority support, but with less detail.
