Scott, I don't agree with John in witneses being sources, they are source first when they have given a recorded statement or written one that you may record. If you want to add witnesses in a way that it is possible to link them to the main persons in a document add an witness event to that person and source it. The person, main and witness is linked by the MASTER SOURCE and THE MASTER LOCATION from the option in Master source list and Master Location list: SHOW LIST. In Legacy the events list act like a time line, and adding the witnessed event to the witness event tab. you have hise timeline, that event included.
