Since I am in the same boat, I played around a little with the descent
report. I too was married and had birth children so I can't click "never
married".

I went into the marriage info box. There is a number of things you can
change there to improvise what you want to say. What I did was to put under
Family View Labels: Left Side: NA, Right Side: Mother. in The Report
Phases: Person 1 "as a single parent adopted" I couldn't figure out how to
click on Person 2 so I went into the male side and, where the first name was
suppose to go typed " a family of three children from Colombia in 1993"

On the Descendant Book, where it says Children (if married) I put in
"Children from this adoption were:"

The report then reads Joan Best, daughter of ..... was born on .......

Joan as a single parent adopted a family of three children from Columbia in
1993.

Children from this adoption were:

2. M i William Plazas was born on 7 Dec 1983 in Bogot, Colombia.

etc.

The only problem is that the part of the sentence above that is in the name
slot is in bold, but that problem can probably be solved, too.
Joan Best
