Subject: [LegacyUG] Organizing photos - discouraging programs

I went to the sites of two photo-organizer programs recommended on this list
and found discouraging information. PaperPort, for example, costs $79!
That's a lot of money for this amateur genealogist. And although Photo
Collector seems to be freeware or shareware, it is only
for Linux users, who are in a world by themselves.
