Hi Rob,
Yes, this appears to be a small bug in Legacy 4.0 (at least the Standard Edition). I
ran across the following message in the GENCMP-L Archives that addressed this
same problem:
From: "SemmelinK" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
Subject: Legacy 4 Std: Missing Event Description in Book Reports
Date: Thu, 27 Jun 2002 22:34:01 +0200
In-Reply-To: <<lNYR8.355760$o66.927992@news-
server.bigpond.net.au>>
When producing reports in Legacy V4 Standard, the Event
Descriptions do not appear and I could not find a
solution in the online help.
Example:
Event: Occupation
Description: Grain farmer <--------------NB
Date: Between 1810 and 1850
Place: Paardeberg, Cape, South Africa
This prints in the Ancestor, Descendant and Descendant
Narrative reports incompletly [as follows]:
Occupation: Between 1810 and 1850, Paardeberg, Cape,
South Africa.
The description: "Grain farmer" goes missing.
In the Family and Individual reports the description does
print correctly.

Apparently this bug has yet to be fixed.
