The other passivity is that you have "living" persons information hidden. Under Report Options/Format/ Make sure that Suppress information on Living Individuals is not checked.

Sometimes this happens because we have inadvertently created two marriages for someone. Check the Marriage List for each of your direct ancestors and check they have the right marriages listed. In addition it is always worth doing a Check/Repair of your file (File > File Maintenance) when you get odd results as this checks the links in the database. Also - although this won't solve your immediate problem - update to Legacy 4.0. Even the free Standard Edition is superior to Legacy 3.0.
