I have a Logitech cordless keyboard, Legacy Ver4 , build 29-May-2003,
Windows 98SE. I'm not sure what you mean by "repeating a field", but
when I'm editing an individual record and hit F8 in the normal mode of
the Function keys it acts like a Tab key and jumps from field to field.
Is this info any help ?
Paddy

Subject: [LegacyUG] Repeat key (F8) and Logitech cordless keyboard

I've been having problems using F8 every since I got this new
keyboard. This keyboard has one of those "F Lock" buttons. Whenever I
press the F8 button to repeat a field in Legacy nothing happens. Yes,
I've
tried it when the keyboard was set to "Standard Function buttons" and
I've
also tried it by turning off Logitech's software (before opening up
Legacy).

So I pulled out my Legacy manual, and on page 76, I found that "Alt-R"
is
suppose to work the same way as F8. I tried that and it doesn't work.
I
also found on page 269 that "Ctrl-R" is suppose to work the same way as
pressing F8. I've tried this also, and it doesn't work either.

It's the Logitech Access Cordless Duo (keyboard and mouse). I've made
sure
I have the latest drivers for both the keyboard and the mouse. Also,
I'm
using the latest version of Legacy, build of 16 July 2003. My version
of
Windows is XP home, and it's had all the latest updates applied to it
also.

If anyone uses this type of keyboard, please let me know if you are able
to
use the F8 key.
