To split off a family, tag everyone you want to split off, then File>Export all Tag 1 (e.g.) individuals to a new Legacy file. You can then delete them from the main file. Hello list, I have been trying all day to access the past messages by clicking on the link for past messages. Every time I get the deadly "The page cannot be displayed". Does anyone know how to get to the past messages? Or, maybe someone can tell me how to split my database? I want to take off two families and make separate db's for them. I know I read about this in the past but cannot seem to get back there. Thanks in advance Myrna ROBERTS Jorgensen San Luis Soyatlan, Jalisco, MX Legacy User Group Etiquette guidelines can be found at: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp To find past messages, please go to our searchable archives at: http://www.mail-archive.com/legacyusergroup%40mail.millenniacorp.com/ To unsubscribe please visit: http://www.legacyfamilytree.com/LegacyLists.asp Legacy User Group Etiquette guidelines can be found at: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp To find past messages, please go to our searchable archives at: http://www.mail-archive.com/legacyusergroup%40mail.millenniacorp.com/ To unsubscribe please visit: http://www.legacyfamilytree.com/LegacyLists.asp
