I've never had this problem. I started using CDR's with Roxio 4. Or maybe 3.
I'm not sure. I never close the disc until it's full. Just keep adding
files. In my experience, all files are accessible when using the CD writer
to read them. When the disc is finally full and closed, all files are
accessible on the either the cd writer or the cd rom drive. I've used
Windows 95, 98, and now XP. I always leave the CDR open. I never use UDF.
And I make no guarantees.
