I have used IntelliShare several times and it is very easy to use. I don't
have two computers, I've used it when working with cousins. I split off the
portion of my database that they are interested in and set the values.
After they add their information to the database I sent them, I merge it
back into my larger database. They add the database I sent into theirs.
It's so simple and not a nightmare like trying to share files using other
programs. When I was using FTM I tried this and it took me over 6 months to
straighten out the mess caused by the same given names being used by parents
being reused by each of the parents' children. I have 4 Margaret Millers
and 3 Margaret Wonderlys of fairly close ages that were closely related to
each other. Without IntelliShare I would have been in real trouble working
on these 2 families.
