Barbara, I saved the downloaded Geo files to the Legacy\Geo folder. Once you've imported them, however, you can delete them.
Yes, you can add additional databases in Options > Customize > Other by clicking on the Database Maintenance button. Thanks for using Legacy. I now have the downloads just on my desk top and import them into the Geo Folder in Legacy5. But if these files are going to be updated should I keep them seperately as well as the imported and compacted data? If so where should they be kept? In the same Geo folder under Legacy? or elsewhere? Also I have imported only the US, American and European files and compressed them. Can I import the the Pacific and Asian files and add them to my database without deleting and re importing what I have already imported and compressed? Thanks for a great program- Barbara> Legacy User Group Etiquette guidelines can be found at: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp To find past messages, please go to our searchable archives at: http://www.mail-archive.com/legacyusergroup%40mail.millenniacorp.com/ To unsubscribe please visit: http://www.legacyfamilytree.com/LegacyLists.asp
