I am not attempting to start a lengthy needless thread here, but sadly (or gladly, depending on your point of view) same sex marriages are not possible in Legacy. I realize such unions are legal in other countries, but not now for Legacy.

You can include your relative's life partner in Legacy anyway. How about using Events? You would need to customize an Event, but that would seem to be your most favorable option.

I have a gay relative (don't we all?) who has a life partner that I'd like

females) as "husband and wife" in Legacy.

I tried making one female and then connecting them but then it won't let me
change the sex after that.

Is there any way to accomplish this?
