Listmates,

I took a record from the 1885 Florida Census which I found in my local
public library. The original of the Census is on file with the National
Archives and our local library bought a copy from the National Archives.
What is the convention or the better practice, to list the repository as the
local public library or to use the National Archives? It seems that I
actually got the record from the local library so I should list that as the
repository, however, I see some justification for noting the National
Archives as the repository since that is the ultimate source of the record.
Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Don
