Alan, Coleen

Did you make any progress with Visio and Access ?
I have used Visio in the past and I find it a good tool for diagrams. I also
programmed MS access - and I thing the combination of Visio (Diagrams) and
Access (Programming) can enhance the graphic output and the ability to
program "what I want to see" instead of "this is what you can do" as most
genealogy software give us today.

Subject: [LegacyUG] Legacy & Visio

Dear User Group,

I am new, but a keen user of Legacy for helping me to record my own family
history, however, I am seeking advice and guidance, -

Can " Legacy" be linked or integrated to the Microsoft product "Visio". I
have used visio at work and find it very useful and recognize that it may
have potential for producing charts for my family history research.

If anyone could give me some advice and guidance on the possibility of
combining the power of Legacy to the charting capability of Visio I would be
very grateful,

PS

Is there a UK user group?

Regards,

Alan Eardley.
