It's still there but in the last update ?2.22? they added a right click drag type navigation which is better for some purposes and makes it easier to get around. However the ball is useful for some things once you've used it a bit. The ball seems to be working more smoothly though that may be my new computer. When I've used TreeDraw on it previously, I've mainly used the right click drag to get around. The new Magnifier is useful as well so you can read sections of the chart even when viewed at 10%
