If I've understood correctly that you have the same person entered under two different names - You can merge (manual merge) the two individuals and choose to put one of the names into AKA.
Just check all the options on the merge tabs to choose which information you want to keep.

Hello :-)

This topic may have been brought up before, but I don't remember seeing it. I have information on my grandfather that I have entered
under one family name (Taylor) that I also need to enter under his family name (Hicks). Is there any way I can merge his information
without re-entering it all again...or to avoid messing everything up - should I just re-enter his information under his name...and avoid
any possible problems...??

Any help would be greatly appreciated :-)

Deb
