But, I have US and Norway 1900 census, and  1841 England, Canada  and  Wales. I use a 
code system
CenU1850 =  UnitedStates 1850
CenC1861 =  Canada 1861
other initials N= Norway, S = Sweden,  E = England D = Denmark  T= Scotland  W= Wales  
I = Ireland  G = Germany (German states).
The most important thing is to REMEMBER what the codes mean to you.

Actually it is very easy.  I just put in Find Event-date that equals 1900.
I do see your way of course. I think it is just a personal choice.  I like
as general/broad/fewer choices in my events list as possible, for me it
makes more sense.  I know some people like very specific event listings and
have a much larger event list than I do.  That is one major thing  I like
about Legacy. We can make changes and set things up in a way that makes
since for ourselves/they way our brains work.  Hope your have a great week.
