To get the list of parents you have to go to "Add Parents" from the child.
Must admit that I have never used it before! It is the bit hit and miss,
whichever parent you "Edit" (don't need to change anything) and "Save" ends
up with the asterisk as effectively Preferred Parent even if not called
that.  So if you edit the Stepfather then you need to open "Edit" on the
natural father briefly to set him back as Preferred.
