Hi Alistair,

Yes Legacy has one Address per individual - but I think you are stretching it to expect to pick up fields automatically from that in Report Titles.

I understand the individual Address as the place to record the current address for living people for contact purposes. From it you can print mailing labels. To use it as you suggest you would need to record Major Life Residence information instead.

It's quite a good idea to include a place in a title if your family is particularly associated with a place - although for the line that is consuming my interest at present I'd want to put "The Harris Family - NOT SUSSEX" as I can't get it into my extended families head that the Harris family is not from Sussex but only had a brief sojourn there before emigrating. ;-)

I don't see a problem with providing the title by hand though can see that this would be frustrating if you run a report frequently.

You could save the settings (which include the title) using various place or family names and load them to alter the title page for particular reports - if that's easier than typing the Title Page each time.

However the 'Address' of the individual is unique - only one allowed, so one ought to be able to attach, say, the 'City' field to a report.
If there is info available on the database structure one could work this one out - or could the developers tell me?
