I would think 512 RAM is enough memory. All of the pictures used in Legacy
are in one folder named "Pictures in Legacy", located in "My Pictures" in
"My Documents"

Matt,

The picture file size isn't too bad. I'd suggest that you size them down to
no bigger than 150 KB per picture, if you can or get more memory <g>

The pictures are all on the hard drive, right? Are they all in the same
folder?

Thanks for using Legacy.

Subject: [LegacyUG] Picture Gallery Slow

IO am running Win XP on an Athlon 3200 512 RAM. The picture Gallery for my
Mom has 16 Pictures all about 100-400 kb jpgs but I can not get the Gallery
to appear It tries to load and will slow every application to the point I
have to Ctrl Alt Del to close programs. The machine is fine no errors, no
need to defrag and I am using the latest update.

Is there a limit on the size of files for the gallery?
