Ron, Before you start resetting things - are you looking at Legacy in a window or full screen? In a windowed mode, the bold may not show up until the window size is enlarged some.
The options that are set in the Options > Customize tabs are stored in the Legacy.usr file. If you click on the "Reset to defaults" button on the bottom of the Options > Customize window, that will reset your defaults. Unfortunately, it's a lot of work to restore them to your original settings, but sometimes that's all you can do. Of course, deleting the legacy.usr file will do the same thing, even more completely.
