Automatically sorting events by date can be a dangerous thing.
I have quite a few events for which the date field does not apply,
and there are many cases when I don't yet know the date for events
which pertain to an individual.

Sorting all events by date would put those events at the top
of the list in random order. I definitely prefer keeping events
in the correct order chronologically, even if there is no date.

I agree. TMG sorts globally and it does not seem like a difficult thing to
add to Legacy, but I am not a programmer so probably should not criticize.
But we can keep pushing for it I guess!

Thanks so much for your reply.
