Ok, here is my 2 cents worth, in 1998 I had a massive stroke that took
my left arm away from me and I was left-handed,
after languishing in front of the television set for an entire year my
husband suggested that try the computer and I did for a small bit, found
500+ E-mails . After deleting all of the junk mail and answering the easiest
letters I actually dealt with them all. Here I am today actually
discovering LEGACY on my compute put there by my cousin. Ignored it until
March 2000 then for some reason decided to enter just 40 of my people after
the 40 I was sold totally. Dropped FAMILY TREE MAKER like a hot rock.
I once made the error of importing other persons GEDCOMs. Today
one-handedly I only enter all data one by one. It is so simple that in two
days I entered 1000 names Teaching myself all of the hot-keys helped
bunches specially the one where you use the F9 key to enter data. or where
you do a right click in order to choose one of the last ten choices.it has
even come in handy for dates especially twin birth dates. I shall think very
long and very hard before I ever IMPORT another uncorrected [to my specs]
data base
Huge KUDOS to LEGACY for making entry so easy that I never hesitate to
enter every thing that I find.
Love, Light, Rainbows & Blessings
