Subject: [LegacyUG] Runtime error

Hello group,

I'm constantly receiving the following Legacy Deluxe error message:

"Run-time error '400':
Form already displayed; can't show modally."

If I click on any name so that the "individual 's information" window opens,
this message appears. If you close the error message or click "OK", Legacy
shuts down immediately.

This problem occurred a few months ago after I downloaded the latest build
version. I later tried the same on a completely different PC, also running
Windows XP, with identical results.

Successive updates did not correct the problem on my PC, but the problem
eventually did go away on my test-PC. Today I uninstalled Legacy, and
downloaded a brand new, clean version: "Version 5.0.0.173 Build 26 Oct
2004". Unfortunately the problem is still there. I'm running Windows XP Pro,
but Legacy isn't running along.

I'm a die-hard Legacy fan, but this is like owning a Ferrari that dies the
moment you touch the gas pedal. It may be beautiful to look at, but I have
to be able to use it, otherwise it is only a conversation piece. Is this a
known problem, or am I the only one in the world who owns a dead Ferrari?
Can it be fixed?

Thanks for any advice someone could offer,
