Hello Jennifer

I did follow the Fileyourpapers method and it suited me fine. I had to change a lot of my MRINS so that I was first then my father and so on but it was worth it.

I now keep all my paper in the MRIN for the couple and unmarried children.

However I do have a very small data base of 1000 individuals so perhaps its a daunting task with a huge number.
Regards

As my RINs and MRINs were all over the place, I wanted to renumber them
so my close relatives and ancestors were near the front of the folders.
If I want to do this, I now realise that the only way is the hard way -
do them one at a time for the individuals for whom I have a lot of paper
files.
