There is also one other thing to keep in mind.... When you share all your hard work with others if it doesn't look professional, or "nice"... sad to say but those who don't have a clue what you have done will not recognize it for the special effort it is. We are a society constantly bombarded with marketing and packaging... there is no getting around that.
Just another reason I really appreciate Legacy. The sentence override feature of events allows me to polish up the reading of my info and add pictures so that my ancestor reports can be enjoyed by the grandkids and people who didn't think they would find this interesting and still manage to put in documentation of the facts. I can add all kinds of history, family and general, that really adds to the family history. Keep up the good work guys! Laurie Oh, and I might add.... for some of us this may be a bit more than just a hobby.... heheheh -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Mary Young Sent: Sunday, December 05, 2004 5:44 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [LegacyUG] Anyone actually "doing" family research? Well, pardon me :-) Aren't we using this List appropriately? - ie, helping one another understand the program, and use it more efficiently.
