About the time the group were discussing the potential, for those using MRINs as hard copy reference numbers, to loose the lot with a nasty gedcom experience....the penny was dropping also with me. So I have been spending HOURS transferring the MRINs over to the UserID field........after many other failed attempts at other forms of hard copy filing [including William Dollarhide's who's book I bought] I found the simple system of filing by MRIN from www.fileyourpapers.com the easiest. The thought of those MRINs getting themselves all mixed up was more than I could bare. So when the boys in the back room have time to work it out, a method of transferring MRINs over to UserIDs, the same way we can do it now with RINs, would be most welcome, thanks....... about yesterday I needed it.... :o))
