Jane,

I didn't understand your question at first, but yes, that's how occuptions
landed in the Master Location List.  FTM uses a PLAC tag when exporting
Facts.  That tag is reserved for Locations and any field that has that tag
will automatically be imported to a location!

Dave has fixed that in a recent build of Legacy v5 so that the user is asked
at the time of importing a file from FTM what to do with PLAC tags.

I have been using Legacy since Ver 3 and at that time imported a gedcom from
Family Tree Maker.  This is when the Occupations must have arrived in the
Location List.
