Thanks for the pointer on modifying the Index View. I find I learn a lot just by trying out methods others post on this list.
I found I had two choices for MRIN: Spouse's MRIN or Parents' MRIN--no "Individual's MRIN." I selected Spouse's MRIN and found that the MRINs listed for me were mine, not my spouse's. Is that what I should've expected? Just curious. I guess it is only obvious the MRINs are the Individual's (not the Spouse's) when the person selected in the list has multiple marriages...? Hi Jane and Listers When you use the Index View tab you can set up a whole host of separate templates. Besides the original default one, I have one showing Birth/Baptism, one showing Marriage (incl MRIN's) , and one showing Deaths/Burials ... regards Bill ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jane Hakes" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Monday, December 13, 2004 8:48 AM Subject: [LegacyUG] RIN versus MRIN? > I've seen much discussion about filing systems and it seems that most > people are filing using the MRIN.
