Hi Cathy,

Thanks for bringing that feature to my awareness. I had seen the save
and load buttons, but had never experimented to see what they did.

I will probably be sticking with my method for this particular
situation that I am dealing with. I copy the source from the notes and
paste into the comments of the citation for the GEDCOM that I
received. I then copy the last line in that to paste into the source
detail of the next source, which is the book that much of this
database is derived from, and the last line is volume and page
information.

Even though I've become quite adept at this, it's one of those
projects that I'm likely to never fully complete. I work on a group
when I am doing research on them or when sharing the information with
someone else.
